Rumors are quick to travel of letters exiting Clan Grimward lands and arriving in the hands of the leaders of Clans Stormjarl, Nightriver, and Ironmound, but it’s not long before these rumors are quelled as the letter’s contents are spread among allied forces, and to the people of their clans and the city-states.

My people, my pack, take glory in battle. We take glory meeting you face to face with steel drawn. We take glory in continuing the fight against the leeches who arrived from across the sea. We take glory in a good death.
But we will never forget honor.
Without honor, our glory was tarnished. Without honor, the price of the leeches has been paid by those undeserving. Without honor, we are undeserving of the Great Wolf’s guidance.
I met an Oakheart warpack leader who speaks of honor from our enemies in the south. Those who would protect Gaia’s Daughters and hesitate to shed unnecessary blood. While Pack Grimward and Clan Stonetooth target our people who would resist their ways, I hear of enemies that give aid to those who are ruled by tarnished honor.
I regret that there are humans and syndar allowed to reside on Mardrun, but in our hatred, my people have become poisoned by leeches of our own. If we do not remove them by scorched steel and spilt blood, then our values will be forever lost. Packs, warriors, and people of the true Clan Grimward, a land with rooted traditions and who win battle without the need of cowardly tactics, rally to the shields of Pack Moonfury. There are Stonetooth and radical Grimward to slay, as my hands have already delivered my own treacherous Chieftain to be devoured by the Wolf.
